I have been taking photo’s for as long as I can remember. I started off with a Kodak 110 camera which kept me amused when I was younger.
From there I was given a Praktica SLR then moved onto a Pentax SpotMatic SLR. The Pentax took some great pictures at very high quality and was a great step into learning the basics of using a camera without relying on automation and just using my own knowledge.
Since then I have had several different camera’s over the years including Nikon F100, D100, F80, F60 & a compact Nikon 9500.
I have shot many weddings, portrait sessions & commercial photos with some appearing in regional newspaper advertising.
I am a creative photographer with many years experience shooting photos for both personal and professional use. Based in Suffolk, England I have experience with commercial, portrait (in studio & on location) and wedding photography.
On my site you can find some links to my flickr page photos which I have taken over the years and also read my Blog.
With photography any one can have professional equipment that they have just picked up at a store or online.
This is why it’s important not to just have the right kit but also have the correct understanding, skills to use a camera and the dedication to get the best shot at your wedding or for your products.
This can range from knowing how to take a photo of an object less than 2 mm long and knowing what equipment to use to get the best result.
It could be to capture that morning scene across the water with the church on the horizon as a silhouette, the sunrise and clouds reflected in the water. By leaving at 2am in the morning then spending 4 hours walking over muddy countryside it allowed me to capture the image I wanted.
Getting a shot of the stormy seas, the wind blowing the waves over your kit & then blowing your fish and chips away shortly after.
Literary pushing the boat out! Hanging onto to the speed boat with one hand and using the camera with the other to get a shot of the racing sailboat as it comes at you head on.
